Confession Friday - Christmas Eve Edition

Woot! We have finally arrived. Merry Christmas, everyone! Please be safe as you travel from place to place over the next couple of days. It's a white Christmas in our neck of the woods. Hooray! I whipped up a few confessions for you yesterday so that I'd have something to post today. :)

I confess that I sent several toys on a little vacation to the Robert Basement Resort while the girls napped yesterday. There is no way I am busting out any new toys before some old ones are rotated out! What Evie doesn't know won't hurt her, haha.

I confess that I actually re-gifted this year. Twice. For the same person. But this person is getting everything they want, so it's not that bad, right? Hehe. I'm not keeping it a secret. Pretty sure one of the things they're getting they saw unopened in my house already and they specifically asked for one of those. :D

I confess that I always buy a present that I want for myself for the Robert family gift exchange, in case I end up getting what I brought.

I confess that I saw a BIG gift nestled under the tree at my parents house for Eric and me, and I'm very curious to know what it is. Yes, mom, I noticed. I'm still your kid. :) I don't have a clue what it could be! I confess that I told Eric about it, and we tried to brainstorm the possibilities over dinner one night. Haha.

I confess that I am honored to be asked to make THE Robert family taco dip for Christmas Eve this year. If you're not a part of the Robert family, then you probably don't know what a staple the taco dip is on the hors devours table...but it's a big deal. When Grandma told us to bring the dip, I knew that I had officially arrived. :)

I confess that I wait in anticipation for Eric to bring the mail in every evening during the holiday season, because I LOVE getting Christmas cards. And I confess that some of our family members won't be getting their cards until we see them tonight, because I forgot to mail the rest of ours. Whoopsies! What a hypocrite.

I confess that I'm looking forward to the Red Balloon Sale almost as much as the holiday festivities this weekend. I know, it's a sickness! Who else is going?? Haha.

I confess that no one tells the meaning of Christmas quite like little Linus, and this scene makes me tear up every.single.time.

Merry Christmas!
