Dog Days...

It has been hot, hot, hot here lately! In the ebbs and flows of life, we've definitely been ebbing it up around here - staying inside and bunkering down from the raging HEAT blazing outside our front door. All I can say is praise the Lord for Pixar, because movies have been saving our lives this week.

So I wish I had something incredibly interesting to report today, but unless you'd like me to quote lines from "Tangled" or "Ratatouille" I've got nothin'! We are literally just trying to survive over here. And if you don't believe me, check out this video we sent to Eric on Monday. This is how we've been passing the time the past two days:

Pretty bad, huh? :)

We've been walking in the evenings, and it feels like a sauna even well after the sun has gone down. I haven't stepped outside today, but I'm hoping our recent rain has cooled things down a bit.

In other news, once again the other half of our duplex is coming up for rent. Two bedrooms, two baths, 1300 sq ft,  full basement, really nice kitchen! It's perfect for a single, couple, or small family! (Can you tell we'd much prefer to know our neighbors than to take the chance on a creeper moving in next door? Haha.) Let me know if you're interested and we'll give you the number of our landlord.

I hope you're staying cool wherever you are! I just put in another movie, so we're good for the next hour and a half or so. :)

I LOVE Tangled!! That is my new favorite. And I really wish I could watch that movie on my computer because I saw you "Don't laugh at me" post on Facebook...but I can't. Damn work firewalls!

I agree with you on the hot thing. It is pure torture out there. I would be interested in the duplex but we are not looking to move until the middle or end of next year. Dang it!

I wish I could say I had little girls and that's why I watched Tangled...however, I don't so I just have to admit to loving that movie!
