Confession Friday 9-30!

Holy moly, it's the last day of September! Yep. Let's get started.

I confess that this is late, because I got a total of three hours of sleep last night thanks to a mix of insomnia, sore throat, and waking babies. And none of those hours came before 4:30 am. It's gonna be a long day.

Evie's dress up picture for the week:

Daddy's dress socks and old tennis shoes. What a nut!

I confess that I can tell which of my kids needs a diaper change from the next room by the smell of their poop. True story.

I confess that Eric FINALLY tracked down the elusive ice cream costume last night, and it's even cuter in a bigger size. I LOVE it! I made Evelyn parade around the house last night with the hat on so I could follow her around and laugh my butt off.

I confess that Evelyn has entered into the stage of irrational fears, and I have no idea what to do about it. She claws and screams to get out of the bathtub because she's afraid of the drain (and practically chokes her sister trying to pull her out with her.) She's terrified of shadows at night. She still runs from the vacuum. HELP. ME.

I confess that the advice I keep reading from the "professionals" is to comfort her and not make her face her fears, because "would you like it if someone did that do you?" So what am I supposed to do - bathe my kid in baby wipes and never vacuum the floor? Sorry, but there's gotta be another way....

I confess that I've had a dull headache for like a month now...and I'm starting to wonder if there's something seriously wrong with me. I have no desire to find out.

I confess that I practice telling annoying people off while I'm doing housework so I don't actually do it to their face. It's how I keep my smile. :D

I confess that I've been missing my college friends a lot this week. Just out of the blue...it hit me. It's been almost five years since I've seen most of them!

I especially miss these people:

And these people:

And these people. <-- Website looks awesome, guys!

All my people. I miss you, dudes and dudettes. :)

I confess that I can't believe more of you don't burn your marshmallows. :) Don't you know the deliciousness that lies beneath that blackened exterior?? Haha. Makes the best s'mores ever!

I confess that I hope Grace starts walking in the next couple of weeks so I can see her toddle around the pumpkin patch. :) I don't know if it's gonna happen...she's an awesome stander but a timid stepper. Come on, Grace!

I confess that I am SO happy that Evie no longer finds it amusing to splash in the toilet. Too bad little sister is stepping right up to take her place.

I confess that I just counted my confessions to see if I had a sufficient number. I do. My mushy brain is struggling this morning. I'd be drinking a lot of coffee right now...if I drank coffee. But I don't. So this is the end.

Have a great weekend!

I confess that if my boobs get any bigger I just might lose it...they are getting ridiculously big!

Keegan went through that same phase with the bathtub...he just took really fast baths while screaming his head off the entire time until he got over it!

Try using the vacuum in a story or a game as a fun thing. I don't know. Penny hates it too, but I just chase her around the house with it.

Bahaha.... Heather, I can picture you chasing Penny around with the vacuum.

Meagan - Please tell me this phase doesn't last long!

It didn't last long but it is definitely a pain in the butt to deal with! Have you tried giving her a shower instead? I think when Keegan was going through that phase was when we introduced showers to him and he LOVED them....never had a problem after that, even when he would take a bath and we give him the option of which one he wanted, which might of helped.

I confess that I used to love chasing our dog Lucy around with the vacuum also until she took a dump right in front of it one day and peed on it the next. She hates the vacuum cleaner and now we put her outside when I vacuum.

Hehe, Cassie...that makes me smile that you were keeping a look out! I was about to pull my hair out over a stinkin' stuffed ice cream cone.
