Confession Friday 10-7!

Monkey see...

...monkey do. :)

We had a GREAT time at dinner last night, and those two were definitely our entertainment. After we adults and the kiddos filled our bellies with pasta and yummy cookies (Grandma Robert brought her famous sugar cookies along!) we let the kids run it off outside for a good half an hour or so. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

The holidays are going to be very interesting this year. :)

I confess that there is no greater blessing than family. We feel incredibly fortunate to have so much of ours so close to us, and we're super happy to spend quality time with family members who live far away, too!

I confess that I put Gracie to bed in her blue jeans last night. I felt terrible, but the girl was zonked, and I wasn't about to mess with a good thing. :)

I confess that we are currently living in an enchanted forest construction zone. I've been putting stuff up AS I make it, instead of stashing it all away to come out the week before the party. October is crazy busy, Eric is traveling, and I have a double root canal next week. If it doesn't get done now, it might not get done at all!

I confess that my double root canal is scheduled for 9am on October 13th. The odds of me making it to blogger's night out are not looking so good for me. Super bummed. :(

I confess that it felt as if we lost a family member when we learned that Steve Jobs had passed away while we on our walk the other night. This blog wouldn't exist without him...every single picture of my children's entire lives are stored and organized inside of iPhoto albums. His Pixar films have brought joy to our family over and over again. His ideas have connected us with friends and family across the world. We've shared the birth of our children, made home videos, and discovered new knowledge through the genius of his inventions. His job meant so much more than creating new technology - it changed the way each of us live. Even if you've NEVER touched an Apple product, if you've used a computer for anything, your life has been changed by Steve Jobs. RIP, buddy.

I confess that there are days I don't wear makeup just because I know I won't feel like taking it off at the end of the day. And...that's almost every day. :)

I confess that this weather is starting to bug me out. It's OCTOBER. And once again (just like last year) the outfits I bought especially for the pumpkin patch probably aren't going to work out at all. (84 degrees on Saturday. Really?? We could drop 20 stinkin' degrees and it would still be a pleasant day out!)

I confess that I cannot decide what to get Grace for her birthday!! I keep wavering back and forth, but I'm running out of time.

I confess that Captain Crunch is rocking my world right now.

I confess that I'm watching Eric get ready for work, and he is CA-UUUTE! (Hubba Hubba.)

I confess that I've been asking Eric for his decorating advice. When asked how I should dress up Grace's cupcake stand, this is what he said: I think I'd just put cupcakes on it. Stick some leaves on. And put it on something brown. <-- I love that man. :D

I confess that the girls are being extra cute and cuddly this morning, and they're making it exceptionally hard to be on the computer.

I confess that for the first time since Gracie has been born I might actually take a nap today. Took me almost a year to get here, but I think it sounds like a nice way to spend part of the afternoon. :)

Hope you all have a great weekend! I'm really looking forward to keeping some family traditions alive and well tomorrow. I hope everything works out and we don't have any floods, forgotten items, or mishaps. ;) See ya back here on Monday!

I confess that I had a beer and half of a vicodin for dinner last night. I can't wait til this pain goes away!

I confess that right now there is a peanut butter cup, a bag of M&M's, and a 32 oz soda on my desk. And I wonder why my teeth are shit.

I'm sooo with you on the weather thing! Seriously, 80's in October is just ridiculous, it needs to cool off soon!!

I confess that I'm one of those pregnant woman that doesn't care how much she eats or how much weight she gains, I'm going to take advantage of "eating for two" while I can, the weight will eventually come off once he gets here!

Heather - my diet pretty much sucks. I blame my bad teeth on genetics and two back-to-back pregnancies, but my love for candy does NOT help.

I was the same way, Meagan. I never cared about the weight gain (until after the fact, haha.) Now I use my pregnancy poundage as bragging rights. "Yeah...I gained like...45 pounds..." Haha.
