Confession Friday 1-20!

The awkward moment when all eyes are on you, and you're not sure what to do with your face....

Haha. Love you, John! :D

I confess that after yesterday's post, I tried licking my own elbow. Did you know that it's impossible to lick your own elbow? :)

I confess that the only way to get Grace to sit remotely still while her diaper is being changed is to recite the ABC's - Gracie's new favorite song; consequently, big sister is getting pretty good at reciting them herself.

^^I confess that before I had kids of my own, I had no idea that the "ABC Song" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" were sung to the exact same melody. Poor Evie gets confused and switches back and forth between the two, haha.

I confess that I'm sorely tempted to start tanning for Spring. Ugh, ugh, ugh. It's around this time every year that the bug bites, even though I tell myself I'm not going to do it anymore. It's a true addiction.

I confess that I was hoping to have some Financial Peace information for everyone by now, and I've totally dropped the ball this week. So sorry - it's coming soon!

I confess that swimsuit shopping in January is challenging, to say the least. We'll be at a water park in a couple of weeks, and all of my old suits give me a major case of saggy butt. :)

I confess that I've waited my whole life (well, almost) to see a view like this:

Kids of my very own, sitting together and playing all by themselves. Sigh. I was so excited when I saw them with their coloring books yesterday that I had to take a picture.

And Grace didn't eat the crayons or nothin. Such a big girl. :)

I confess that my phone has been missing like, all week long. I am about to lose my mind. Please, Lord...reveal my phone to me. Lead me in the footsteps of little babes....

I confess that sometimes I wish I could rewind the clock and go through school again, only with my adult brain. Ah, how wonderful to be back in the first grade. Recess, people who cook for you, art class. Sounds like a vacation.

I confess that after breaking her heart a couple of weeks ago, Evelyn asks if we're going to Chuck E. Cheese every single day. Children do not forget! (She also asks about when we're going to Disney World, and I swear I've never prompted her once. She's watched enough youtube videos with me to be a Disneyholic all on her own accord. Haha.)

I confess that having kids who are climbers is just no fair at all. There is nothing that is out of their reach. One day I'll be able to have nice things again....

And finally, I confess that I shaved my legs yesterday and felt like an accomplished human being. It's the little things. :)

I am so ready for the weekend! Hope yours is a good one! My first order of business: to find out what in the world is making our refrigerator STINK. Something is hiding in there.... Over and out.

I confess that I totally started singing both the ABC's & Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to see for myself...I don't think I knew that before!!

I confess that I haven't taken a shower since Tuesday night thanks to our water heater calling it quits Wednesday night & I can't wait for Carson to fall asleep so I can go take a long hot shower!!

Haha, Meagan: We were singing songs one day and it just hit me. "Heeey, wait a minute...." :D And oh my, get that shower! Nothing feels better after a few days. (Glad to see you're having a bloggy kind of day! Seriously - miss you!)

Yes, Ashley, that is the first place I'm looking - after I can track down a gas mask that is!

I confess that one of my cousin's can actually lick her elbow. She read it was impossible so she decided to try. I'm pretty sure she dislocates her shoulder when she does it though...it looks disturbing.
