Confession Friday 2-17!

The girls were excited to open this package yesterday!

It was some of our potty training goodies! However....

I confess that I'm going to pull the plug on our potty party if at least a couple more kiddos aren't able to come. So far it's us and one cute little boy and his pretty mama. No one else wants to play with us! Haha. Actually, it's not that big of a deal. But I do need to know by the end of the day if anyone else is interested, because I will need to shop this weekend and make decorations. Otherwise - RIP Potty Party!

I confess that Eric and I are genuinely frightened by Evelyn's depth of knowledge when it comes to technology. We've been finding random videos and pictures on our phones...haha, they're actually pretty funny...and she can click into programs like nobodies business. Last night she loaded up a story and was reading to her sister from the iPad. What's next - online shopping?

I confess that I'm currently getting a GREAT tan, and I'm not going to a bed to get it. I do believe I have stumbled upon the holy grail of sunless tanners. I want to use it just a little longer before I recommend it...but seriously, I think I just changed the quality of my life by about 1000 points. :)

I confess that driving me bonkers. She wakes up 58567392 times in the middle of the night now, and if I don't jump up to get her right away, she hoists herself out of the crib. I'm afraid she's going to break a leg or something! Help. Me.

I confess that it usually takes me weeks to take down any decorations that I put up, but the girls ensured that I get on the ball this time....

I caught Gracie standing on top of the table ripping flags down Double Dare style. Well, that's one way to clean up, I suppose!

I confess that for the first time in three years I'm reeeally tempted to chop my hair off. I just don't know if I have the guts to follow through...

I confess that it's tax season and we NEVER get a huge refund - on purpose!

I confess that I need to brush up on my lullaby lyrics. (Shouldn't this be covered in Mom Class 101?) I tried singing Grace to sleep tonight and realized that I can't remember what the heck mama is supposed to buy when that mockingbird stops singing. After "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" I've about exhausted my nighttime crooning repertoire. :)

I confess that I wouldn't be heartbroken if we had twins next. What a fun adventure that would be! Haha.

I confess that I've already bought the first of Evelyn's decorations for her June birthday. Only 116 days until my firstborn is THREE! Oh, do I have a lot to say about that. Bittersweet....

I confess that I'm really looking forward to this extra long weekend. Eric starts class on Monday, but at least we can party it up on Sunday night without worrying about waking up early on Monday morning. This Sunday is our church's Valentine's Banquet, and those Baptists can get pretty CrAzY. Baha.

Here's hoping you have a great weekend!
Evelyn says, "Hello, people!"
Over and out.

"ripping flags down Double Dare style"....Thank you for that. LOVED that show. I would be a contestant to this day!!!

...and if the mockingbird stops singing... momma's gonna buy her a diamond ring...and if that turns brass, a looking glass, and if that turns dim...a sit & spin....yeah, looks like I need a little help, too.

Have a great weekend!!

I have a question about this potty did you get all that stuff? Did you have to pay for it? How does that work? When is potty party, next Friday, what time?

Sarah - I'll let you know if we reschedule.

Angie - Nope, didn't pay for a thing. Go to and you can apply to host parties for certain companies. They send you free stuff to give away to your party guests. Ours was scheduled for February 25 at 6:30 pm, but it's looking like it will be cancelled.

Isaac has been getting up alot at night right now to but he is teething so I guess that is expected. Luckily he cannot hoist himself out of bed yet. Thank God! Does it really surprise you that she is technology smart. Look at you guys you both seem pretty smart to be in that field hands down.
