Hello, Monday.

I don't feel like blogging today. I just don't.
If you've ever blogged a day in your life, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
But I have this thing in my soul...this internal struggle...and when I don't blog my life feels wrong.
So I'ma do it anyway. Mama didn't raise no slacker. (Well...in this instance.) Word.

Today's post features random pictures of my kids in the kitchen. Enjoy. Ha.

We had a really great weekend, for sure. I didn't cook AT ALL. Unless you count frozen pizza and toasted ravioli heated up in the oven. We ordered Tequilas on Friday and took it to Eric's parents house where the girls completely ignored their food and decided that the playroom was infinitely more important than sustenance. :) Friday night dinners with the folks are looking more and more like this. Instead of spending our evening inside of a crowded restaurant with two rowdy kids, we order our food to go and enjoy it from the comforts of home. Best idea we've ever had.

On Saturday Eric and I enjoyed a wonderful date night, where we spent twice as much money on dinner as we usually do, haha. We thought we would be smart and slip in some place early to beat the Valentine's Day weekend rush, but even at 5:00 on the dot most places were packed to the gills already. Since we didn't have reservations anywhere (Eric Joseph Robert!) it took us a couple of tries to not find an hour long wait.

But we had some yummy pasta and spent the rest of our night buying (the wrong) lightbulbs and some random hardware at Home Depot and then stuffing a cart FULL at the Dollar Tree. Whew, hot date! :D I seriously adore the Dollar Tree. It's probably my favorite store in the universe, and I know that makes me a nerd, but for real. It's the bomb dot com.

On Sunday we had a GREAT morning at church. Eric's mom was in the nursery which meant we actually got to enjoy the service. Yesterday was the "anniversary" of the day that our pastor and his wife were engaged, and so of course we got to hear all of the details of that night...of the scavenger hunt, and the proposal question spelled out on the old movie theater marquee...and I don't think I've ever heard so many women "aww" at once in my life. We're good friends with Ben and Laura, and so we've heard the story before, but I don't think I ever get tired of hearing engagement stories!

While Ben was telling the story, Laura was standing in the back with their youngest baby. At the end Ben mentioned that to celebrate the day he was taking her on a surprise date that afternoon, and she had no idea. Ack, it was precious.

After church we went out for lunch and our friend Ashley was with us. (Hi, Ashley! I know you're reading this, haha.) Ashley was going to be Ben and Laura's babysitter that afternoon and she told us that Ben's plan for the day was to recreate the night he proposed. ACK, AGAIN! How cute is THAT? Okay, enough with the mushy stuff. :)

The rest of our Sunday was lazy and wonderful. My favorite show is on TV on Sunday nights, and while I know admitting that this is one of the highlights of my week makes me look like a total loser, I cannot lie. It's one of the highlights of my week. I'm a sucker for a good fairy tale with a twist! (Seriously...every time I try to type "fairy tale" it comes out "farty tale," and no, I am not a fan of farty tales.) ;)

So I thought I'd wrap this one up with a little ABC Blog Challenge action. Today's letter is: O - Off Camera.

I thought for a while about what I should do for this one, and ultimately decided that I would just turn the computer camera around on myself. :) Easy enough! Do you ever sometimes wonder where people are blogging from or what their wearing while they blog...like, is my favorite blogger in their pajamas? or something. Haha, okay, maybe not everyone is as weird as me.

Well, here's where I blog from just about every single night:

In my living room.

On the love seat.

After everyone else is asleep.

And now you know. :)

The End.

Looks like you are going passing me up on the ABC Blog Challenge...I'm not going to do another one until the giveaway is over.

Ahh! I'm mentioned in the blog! I feel so honored. You all are some of my favorite people to hang out with! Laura loved her date with Ben.....but she figured it out at the first stop. haha!

I had no idea anyone else was watching the show! I have a confession: Rumplestiltskin is my favorite! I don't care if he's supposed to be a bad guy. :)

Cassie, we need to get Josh to light your fire. :D Drag his behind to FPU class - oddly, it always brings Eric and me closer when we go through. I always joke that it was the best pre-marriage counseling we had, haha.
