Confession Friday 9-14!

I confess that I went to bed early so that I could wake up today feeling refreshed and energized. Yeah, not so much. Still tired. And I lost two hours of free time last night. Not trying that one again. :)

Happy Friday! So glad we made it through this week!

I confess that I get really excited when I see the Duggar kids wearing the same clothes my children have worn. Haha. Happened twice this week.

I confess that we have pretty great neighbors, but some like to play, "Keeping Up With the Joneses: Lawn Edition." And it CRACKS me UP. Doesn't matter if they have mowed the grass twice in a week already, our neighbors will always be out mowing the day after we do, or even hours after we do. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but it's totally not. I call it every time. This time I documented proof of the nuttiness:

Where our yards meet. Can't tell the difference? Me either. I took this from my window...hehe...this is their yard's BEFORE shot (on the right). How do you even cut grass that short? I have no idea. But my dad mowed our grass while Eric was gone, so you better believe they were out mowing theirs, pronto. I heard their lawnmower, laughed, and grabbed the camera. :D

I confess that if anyone ever wants to play "keeping up" anything with our family, you win. We're not playing. I don't have the time to keep up with ourselves, haha.

I confess that Eric brought home chocolates as part of my anniversary gift, so I waited until the kids were in bed, and I sat and ate them ALL. By myself. Yum.

I confess that Reagan has ambitions to be a xylophone player. At least that's what my ribs are telling me right now.

I confess that I took the girls out and about for the first time in a long time by myself yesterday, and I'm pretty much feeling like supermom right now. It is hard...wait, scratch that...it is impossible to shop with two children on the outside and one on the inside when you have a wild kid that will not sit in carts or be held. But we were on a mission to get Eric's anniversary present, and we did it! Woot!

^^I confess that I cashed in my change jar to get Eric's gift. Hey, it's a little difficult to keep a secret when you share every single banking and store account. :) I needed an extra stash of cash!

I confess that Evelyn is convinced that her daddy is wearing makeup in the wedding picture I posted yesterday:

She kept asking, "Is that his girl face?" Baha. I have no idea why she thinks he's wearing makeup!

I confess that if I happen to read an old blog post for any reason and notice a spelling mistake, I have to fix it. Have to. Even if it's two years old and no one will ever read it again. Drives me nuts.

I confess that I am extremely jealous of the many couples I know on their honeymoons this week. What a fun time!

I confess that the first day of fall isn't until September 22, but we've decked out our house, eaten caramel apples, and made plenty of soup and chili already. Can't come soon enough here! The girls' fall wardrobe is already hanging and ready to go. Now we just need the weather to comply.... :)

I have a fun weekend ahead filled with all kinds of wedding stuff.
Seems to be the theme of the week, doesn't it?
"Oh they say when you marry in June you're a bride all your life." That may be true. But I think most people are getting hitched in the fall and winter these days!

^^Twenty friendship points if you know where that quote is from. :)
Okay. The End.

I confess I am losing all my blogging mojo. Don't want to do it. At all.

7 Brides for 7 Brothers is my favorite musical! I made Jake watch it with me recently....he doesn't love it quite as much as I do :) But now I'll have that song stuck in my head all day!

I will always say that Fall begins on September 23rd. Because it's my birthday and Fall is my favorite season. :)
