Woot - It's Wednesday!

Well howdy, strangers. Our life was all kinds of crazy yesterday. The abridged version is this: Eric had to get ready to fly halfway across the country. Eric realized early yesterday morning that he didn't have a hotel room booked like he thought he did. This posed many problems...especially when he discovered that the hotel where the conference is that he is attending had no vacancy. No room in the inn for him.

So while we were planning on having an enjoyable family day before he left yesterday afternoon, Eric spent the entire morning making phone calls, lining up a rental car, packing, etc. etc. I was not a happy camper by the end of it. :) Seriously...three hours to find a hotel room? It was a Tuesday for crying out loud. What is so popular about Boston on a Tuesday? Was the pope in town? I mean...GAH.

Family day became "let's grab lunch" as quickly as possible day. But that was very pleasant, so I can't complain. And no, I was not upset with Eric in the least. I was just as shocked as him to learn that the very large fee his company paid for him to attend this conference did not include lodging (like every other business conference on the planet.) Still scratching our heads on that one. Eric, if you eat off of golden plates at lunch, then we'll know where all that money went. :)

And while I was less than excited to send my husband off on a plane, especially on September 11 when the airline world is on high alert, I am pleased to say that he landed safely and had a place to rest his head last night.

So now you get to enjoy some random pictures of my kids at lunch yesterday. Bon appetit.

We heart Mexican food. :)

We also enjoy embarrassing daddy while he gets a haircut....

"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"
I don't think he minded two cuties yelling his name one little bit.

So yes. I was hoping to be able to share some pictures of us enjoying the great outdoors today, but that's just not how our day played out. It wasn't a total wash, though. We did pick up the shirts we needed for our Fall family photos. I have so many picture plans this Fall it's not even funny. Now we just need those leaves to change so I can do them all!

Grace just closed my computer, picked it up, and put it on the table. Haha. So I got it back just to say that I think my daughter is trying to tell me something. I'll leave you with the latest baby bump picture, since Reagan is so grossly underrepresented on this blog. This is Evelyn's photography. And yes, my belly is covered in stickers, because she wanted to "decorate" him this weekend.

Evelyn thought there was no need to capture my face in this. :)

Do anyone else's legs turn into TREE TRUNKS when they're pregnant? For real. I couldn't put a toe in my pre-pregnancy jeans.

Tomorrow is a special day for us!
It's the day we pulled the trigger on a super-speed roller coaster ride four years ago.
Ah, the day that started it all. :)
Have a great Wednesday!

Awe, love the baby bump photo.

My legs were tree trunks when I was pregnant with both my boys. I felt huge.

Well I'm glad I'm not alone! Somedays I feel like I'm carrying one baby in my belly and twins in my thighs! Baha.
