Moe's Mischief 2012 Part 2

Our Elf on the Shelf Moe has been keeping it real for me lately at the end of each day - a welcome distraction from the sorrow of recent tragedies. There is nothing quite like the squeals and giggles of delight that come from excited kids. It's like fuel for the soul. Fill me up, I say.

When we last left our little dude he was busy having sack races in the living room with some friends. :) The very next day, we awoke to discover that Moe had strung a zip-line from a shelf to our Christmas tree and apparently had been zipping across it all night....

The girls got a real kick out of seeing him hanging there. :)

Moe organized a little movie night on Wednesday....

And what were they watching?

Elf, of course!

He even provided some special refreshments for all of his pals. Haha, love these. I found the labels at our Dollar General store. They are actually stickers, but I put them on with tape so that they could be used again. :)

We found a hopping party going on in the bathroom the next night.

There were party lights and paper chains; even a decorated toilet and a punch bowl sink. Oh, that Moe. :)

After two late nights of partying in a row, all Moe wanted to do was sleep.

Please, do not disturb the kleenex box. :)

And we found Moe coloring one morning....

He looked so cute laying there. :) The girls picked up crayons and joined right in when they found him!

I hadn't gotten around to hanging our stockings yet, so our very kind and generous elf decided to help me out.

How sweet, Moe! But wait...what's this?

Moe! Haha. He gave himself a HUGE stocking. :) Even Eric got a good chuckle out of this one.

Looks even funnier the further back you go. I promise our TV is not small (at all!) that stocking is just that huge. :D

And finally, yesterday we learned that our North Pole pal is a little activist.

"No coal!"

Just a friendly reminder to not be naughty. No one wants coal in their stocking. :)

Moe had a very busy week around here! Less than a week to go before he flies back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve to stay until next year. The girls are going to be sad to see him go. And I have to admit - so will I! He sort of becomes part of the family at Christmastime.

I can't believe how close we are to Christmas already. It all goes by way too fast! Our festivities start this Saturday, and I can't wait! Merry Christmas from Moe!
