Reagan says "Rawr!"

"Stop taking pictures of me, mother."

Cutest little polar bear I ever did see. :)
Reagan did NOT want me to put him down yesterday morning. He is a total mama's boy, and I don't mind one bit!

Our weekend was pretty low-key as far as weekends go. Friday night dinner, a "date night" with my boys, church on Sunday, and a lazy afternoon. That's about it in a nutshell! I've been spending the last week hunting and gathering clothes for my children for summer. That's right, summertime. I never buy the bulk of my kids' clothing in season, and now that I have three kids to fend for, why, it's even more important to get good deals.

So for the past seven days I've been popping into the same store multiple times to dig through bins, and random peices of clothing have been showing up from all over the country in my mailbox. It's a big job tracking down all this stuff, but this time of year. :) If you have kids and you haven't already, you should totally go check out Gymboree's sale. Hurry, hurry, before the good stuff is all gone. :)

As if my semi-annual clothingpalooza isn't project enough, I'm also taking on another huge but fun endeavor at the moment, and I'll be able to share it with you this time next week! One very special kid is turning five and just this weekend my mom made the executive decision to throw a bigger than usual party for him next Saturday. Since I'm a lover of all things birthday, I volunteered to be on the decorating committee. That would be a committee of me, myself, and I.

Mom says not to stress too much about need to overdo anything. When do I EVER overdo a birthday party? :D

So yes, I'm going to attempt to do what I usually do for my own kids over the course of two months in one week's time. Mother, don't try to talk me out of it, I've already got several projects done, and I'm on a roll. :)

I thought it would be fun...for my own see if ya'll can figure out my favorite part of birthday planning - the theme of the party! (No cheating if you're related to me and you already know, haha.) So maybe I'll give a hint every day this week and then on Monday you can see if you were right. It's January, friends, the month of never-ending boredom - no wonder why I need something to do with myself!

So the hint for today: The subject is one of mine and Gracie's favorite things. :) And yes, it's been mentioned here multiple times!

That's about it in my world at the moment. I've got another big project on deck as soon as the others wrap up...back to my old self again. Lovin it. I'll leave you with a discovery we made at Eric's parent's house this weekend: our children make the cutest nerds on the planet.

And if you knew Eric or me as ten year olds then you know this look may not be too far off for our kiddos, haha. Nerd alert! :)

Happy week!
