Irish People Are Silly. Clearly.

Some people are athletes. Some people discover cures. Some people are business professionals. Me? I am a prop hunter-gatherer. It's one of the many hats I wear. :) I buy the most random things at the most random times thinking that eventually they will be of some use to me. Hmm...lime tutus? Okay, never know when they might come in handy. Giant hat with clover? It's only a buck - must have that! I get the strangest looks from my husband, and I just can't imagine why.

ANYWAY, sometimes we get bored around here. Yes, that happens. And then an idea pops into my brain, and I get busy running around, tracking down all of my props. In closets, in the basement, bags inside of bags...I may not put stuff away in convenient places, but somehow in my jumbled brain I know where everything is located. And then in lightening fast fashion we throw together a makeshift photo shoot (more like a photo booth shoot, haha) complete with wrapping paper backdrop, cause nobody wants to see Gracie's artwork scribbled on the wall instead. Did you know wrapping paper doubles as wallpaper? Does in this house!

Now, I suppose sharing all of our random picture taking days where everything goes wrong would be more a novelty if we ever had a day that went RIGHT. But you know how it is around here. Three kids. One mom. Not happening. Probably not ever happening. :) So without further ado...welcome to another day in the land of the littles.

On this particular day, we went searching for any room in the house where we could squeeze out just a little bit of natural light. That happened to be the kids' room. So we played dress up from mama's bag 'o props, and I just let the kids do their thang. I don't usually try to pose them. And that's why I get pictures like this:

Snort. "Kiss Me." :)

And this:

Thumbs up photo bomb. :)

The next few pictures might just look like the girls making faces, but what this mama sees...

...is Gracie's play can of tuna. Baha. Gracie loves that tuna. She carries it around everywhere, only to her they are cookies. "Want a cookie?"

Reagan decided to join the fun, and he gave us his classic "What am I doing here?" look.

Evelyn's awesome hair is the star in the next photos....

And this one just about sums up our children's personalities in a nutshell.

I got a few of this pose, which was easier because only one child had to look at me. :)

But that didn't last long...

Yeah, I don't even know....

I would like to call this next series "A Kiss and a Miss."

Haha, poor Reagan. This is Grace telling her brother to be quiet, cause she made him cry. Oy.

I'm so glad that real photographers exist, haha. Maybe someday I will get a picture of all three of my children looking in the same direction at the same time. :) For now, I'm just happy for an excuse to hang out and have fun with my kids on a chilly March day. Mom's props came through again!

Happy Tuesday, pals!

How adorable are your kids?

I am not irish, but I, too, buy ridiculous things for no reason until that reason shines upon us ;)

This post made me smile so much :)
