Cluck cluck.

Appointments.
They are the bane of my existence.
Had double shots this week for the kiddos. It's a double dentist appointment today. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before, but I think our family has an obscene amount of appointments compared to most. What gives?

As I was sitting down to type this post at 10:30pm my phone rang and scared the crap out of me. With dread I looked to see the number, thinking that anyone who would call at this hour must have some kind of an emergency. But it was a number that I didn't recognize from out of state. Something about this is unsettling to me, a person with a wild imagination in a dark house full of snoozing people. So of course I look up the number online, just to see if I can get a hint of who it was. Well, I found out alright.

Swiped this pic from google. :)

Why, it was Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken, of course!
Calling from St. Louis, you know, just to make sure I was doing alright. Making sure my kids were sleeping soundly - visions of drumsticks dancing in their heads.

I've never even heard of this place before, but guess what? I now know they exist. Well played, Lee's. But...then again. 10:30pm? You kind of suck a little bit, too. I think you owe me a #6 Boneless Combo. Cause I'm not gonna lie - your food looks amazing.

I had plans yesterday to write up March's wrap up on the kids, but that didn't happen. Reagan got poked in places no respectable young man enjoys getting poked in at the doctor, and he was NOT a happy camper. Long evening. So I thought I'd do it today. But I'm not feeling it. It's late, and we have to take the kids all the way to Des Peres in the morning to see the pediatric dentist - the ONLY one remotely close to us that takes our insurance.

Have I mentioned that I hate appointments? And this will be the first of many at our out of the way dentist, I'm afraid.

So are you ready for a few totally random things that I'm currently digging before I go to sleep? Well, here they are.

This blog I found. Organizing and the Dollar Tree, two things I'm loving right now.

And a surprisingly good article from about.com on church attendance. I know ya'll are dying to read that one!

I'm trying to be mad at Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken at the moment, but I'm telling you, now I'm just craving some fried food and cole slaw. Dang.

Happy Thursday. By the time you're reading this I might just be sitting in the dentist's office having a good ole time. Wahoo!
