Clothes.

Eric gets very disappointed when I miss a day of blogging. "No blog today?" he asks, making me feel like a horrible, dreadful person. Haha. I'm joking. Sorta. So here I am - doing this one for you, dear. ;)

Truth is my life hasn't consisted of much more than this for the past few days.....

Please. For the love of Pete. (I don't know who Pete is, but for the love of him...) Do not make me take this stuff back down into my basement. It needs to GO.

So if you know any little girls...if you see girls around...if you're a girl...come hang out this weekend and take some of this with ya. :) The sad thing is, I'm doing this sale so I can afford to buy more clothes. Haha. Funny thing, how those kids grow. :)

There will be a little more than clothing at our yard sale, FYI, and *some* boy items, too. I have no idea where I'm going to put all of our junk. I don't even have all of our clothes out, because I don't have a good place to put them!

If you're not able to make it to the yard sale this weekend because you live far away or just have no use for it, all is not lost. There is a way you can get someone else's affordable clothes, easy peasy.

It's a website called thredUP, and I am hopelessly addicted. I've already gotten a great start on the girls' Fall & Winter stash with some excellent deals. Basically, people send the company their gently used or brand new items, they get a small amount of money for what is accepted, and then the public gets to shop at consignment level prices.
You can search their site for gender, size, and even specific brands that you are looking for. I'm typically scouting out retired Gymboree peices, and it's an awesome way to track down clothes from favorite old lines. The longer an item sits on the site unsold, the cheaper it gets. I've gotten so many fabulous items for $3-$4. And the website is SUPER picky about what they accept, so even if they say something has a "tiny flaw," they really mean something minuscule, and they will tell you exactly what it is.

You should try it out, but I'm warning you...you won't be able to stop yourself once you start. Getting those polka-dotted boxes delivered to your doorstep will send your heart aflutter, and then...well...you're doomed.

Through my account you can get $10 off of your first purchase, which means you can get some stuff for FREE. (They have adult items, too!) Just click this link. Then, once you've established an account, you can offer the savings to your friends, too. Everyone loves free money, right?! This is a great way to pick up some back to school items on the cheap! :)

Now I must get to tagging things and figure out a way to scrounge up more tables and how to extend my garage by about 10 feet. All in a day's work. Haha. Hope you guys have a great day!

That's it. I'm leaving work at 4:00 on Friday and heading straight over there.
