Playing Catch Up

Migraines are an especially cruel joke, but as I have learned, they are even more sick and twisted when you're pregnant. Let's give the woman who is already nauseous another reason to throw up. Haha. Not fun. I sincerely thought I was going to get through this pregnancy without actually tossing my cookies, but it seems as though that pushed me over the edge.

So while I can't say that this week has gotten off to a great start, the birds are chirping outside of my kitchen window this morning, the sun is shining in, and I hope that today is a better day!

What have we been up to lately? Well, we got some new furniture - wahoo! And the quality of my life just shot up about 1,000,000 points now that I don't have to constantly wash slipcovers. It's leather, and if I can ever get my act together, I'll try to take a picture of it sometime.

We've been enjoying lots of summertime treats....

Reagan was covered, head to toe, by the time we got home. Naturally.

We had a picnic in the park for our preschool/kindergarten sunday school class. It was really well attended, and there was SO much good food there! If you are ever looking for a good sunday school for your preschool or kindergartner we've got one!

This Sunday we studied the love story of Jacob (and Leah) and Rachel. Haha. We worked with some clay - a place to hold something we treasure.

Reagan the knight-fireman saved the world....

All in a day's work. :)

And I finally managed to get a first baby bump picture, which I affectionally call my little speed bump. I swear my bottom half is in competition with my top half when I'm pregnant. I joked with Eric that if I didn't know better I'd think I was having triplets - one in my stomach, one in my left leg and one in my right!

Of course my dear husband was making the picture taking process difficult by recruiting our friend and neighbor Jeremy to wave to the camera in the background. Can you see him? Haha.....

I was cracking up. But seriously Eric, just take my picture. ;)

I was nine weeks when this was taken. I bought a new swimsuit for vacation months ago, and I can kiss that baby goodbye. It was a one-piece. Stinking cute, too. :)

Back-to-school stuff is right around the corner and I'm feeling helplessly unprepared. I need to go clothes shopping and supply shopping and get the kids' room and closet ready for the big switch. When all I really want to be thinking about is packing bags to get the heck out of dodge for a while in Florida. :) Ah, priorities.

This weekend is our church's VBS day camp and carnival on Friday night. The camp is for Kindergarten and up, and anyone can come out and join us for some fun on Friday evening! I'll try to get some more specific details if anyone is interested. It's always a really fun time. And free, of course! :)

My kids are begging me to play with them. I'm feeling pretty good so, duh, that's an easy choice. Hope we ALL have a great rest of the week!

Of course!! I HAVE to know. What I can't decide is if Eric and I should find out first this time or wait again and find out with everyone else. :)

I think it would be special just to do it with you guys and the kids first. But that's just how I would do it...cause I'm WAY too impatient :) I found out Kinley was a girl at 12 weeks with the blood tests they ran, and I don't see how people can wait longer than that!

That is what I'm leaning towards. :) We had a two-day wait between getting that piece of paper and finding out with Reagan, and that was torture! I'd like to think of a way to make it special with the kids since it's our last time.

Cute post except for the migraine part. Boo! Can definitely relate there.

Yay for new furniture! I have been wanting leather furniture so bad. We have been looking but nothing is in our price range at the moment. :( Our couch shows everything and it drives me crazy.

See you Friday at church. The boys are looking forward to it.
